About me

My work over the past 25 years has been influenced by my life-long passion for art in it’s many visual forms. From as early as I can remember, I was drawing along with my brothers and sister. Being the youngest, I was always striving to be as good or better than them and have carried this drive throughout my career. Whether it’s through a physical form, digital tool or applying new and different techniques, I want to create a visual that will simply make someone say “that’s cool!

One of my childhood inspirations was Norman Rockwell, I just loved how his illustrations of people made me think “what is going on here”. I want to create a similar feeling for people, whether it’s through a facial expression or body language on a sculpture, or a certain typeface on a logo, or even the simple pressure of a pencil stroke in a sketch - the visual representation can be powerful, if done right.

I have honed my skills through working with creative talents, such as Todd McFarlane, where I have learned from him the importance of giving people something new or different to enjoy. I really love the quote attributed to Steve Jobs, “artists lead and hacks ask for a show of hands”. Without creative minds, there is no innovation.
